Ebrahim Medell
Ebrahim is a multi-award winning dancer with N.A.P.A.C, State Theatre Ballet and Dance, Playhouse Dance Company and the Fantastic Flying Fish. He has worked with locally and internationally renowned choreographers and has travelled extensively before bringing his art and expertise to the Eoan Group. He holds the post of class master to the Eoan trainees for the past ten years and is the resident Artistic Director of the Eoan Group Theatre Company since 2011.
Ebrahim Lawrence
He started at the Eoan Group as a part-time security person and was promoted to stage duties as a fly-bar operator and stage manager in 2003. He received his certificate in rigging, plotting and design of stage lighting at Artscapeś Theatre Lighting workshop. His first opportunity outside of the Eoan Group was to be hired as lighting and sound technician at the Grahamstown festival in 2007. He is the resident Theatre Manager at the Joseph Stone and the resident lighting designer for all Eoan productions and Eoan Group Theatre Company¨s dance seasons.
Mishkaah Medell
Mishkaah started dancing at the age of nine at the Eoan Group School of Performing Arts and has completed her graded ballet levels up to Intermediate level. In 2006, Mishkaah studied Dance at the University of Cape Town completing two years of her Dance Teachers Diploma.
Mishkaah has travelled and performed abroad on several occasions and she received a scholarship to study traditional Indonesian dancing in Bali, Indonesia in 2010. She has appeared on the Main Programme as a professional dancer since the inception of the Baxter Dance Festival in 2005 and as a choreographer since 2008.
In 2016, she was a cast member of Adagio for a Hacked Life choreographed by Grant Van Ster, which was the third and final instalment in the highly acclaimed Growth trilogy- a collaboration between the Baxter Theatre Centre and Scenkonst Sormland (Sweden). She was awarded the Best Contemporary solo at the first official South African Dance Awards in November 2016.
Lucille Hendricks
Lucille started her training as a modern dance student at the Eoan Group School of the Performing Arts in 2004 and commenced her ballet training in 2007. She obtained her Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Advance 1 certificate under the mentorship of ballet teacher, Abeedah Medell.
She was encouraged to assist teachers in the preschool classes and has been instrumental in setting the foundation of ballet at the Eoan Group. She completed a course in Early Childhood Development NQF 5 in 2009 and an Advanced Au pair Course in 2019.
Lucille has been a dance company member for the Eoan Group Theatre Company since its inception in 2011. She is trained in contemporary dance and various Indonesian traditional dances and her versatile training has afforded her opportunities to perform on different profesional platforms and to travel abroad through dance.
Daneeka Gutuza
Daneeka started her dance training in the ballet, modern and hip hop classes at the Eoan Group in 2005. She was a member of the Eoan dance crew that won the Ktv competition for three consecutive years. In her final year of matric, she had the honour of representing South Africa and the Eoan Group School of Performing Arts in a Dance Exchange Programme in the Philippines. She obtained an International Diploma in Beauty therapy at the College of Cape Town.
Daneeka´s dancing has afforded her roles in the movie ¨Honey 3: Dare to Dance¨ in 2016 and ¨Bring It On: Worldwide #Cheersmack¨ in 2017. She has obtained her Royal Academy of Dance Advance 1 certificate and is the senior hip hop teacher at the Eoan Group.
Layla Hendricks
Layla is a third year film and media student at the University of Cape Town and was a dance student at the Eoan Group for ten years before she became the Intermediate Hip Hop teacher at the Eoan Group.
She has obtained her Royal Academy of Dance Advance 1 certificate and has performed annually at the Baxter Dance Festival since its inception in 2005. She was a member of the Eoan crew that won the Hip Hop Indaba in 2012 and 2014. Layla was also selected as a dancer and actress for the Kyknet series Danz in 2017.
Lisa Bennett
Lisa started her journey with the Eoan Group in 2003 and has trained in ballet and contemporary under the guidance of ballet teacher, Miss Medell. She holds a Royal Academy of Dance Advance 1 Ballet certificate and is currently studying for a sport science degree at the University of the Western Cape. She teaches the preschool and primary ballet level at the Eoan Group.
Desiree Lee Angus
Desiree holds a teachers certificate in Modern Dance which she obtained through IDTA as well as a dance teachers qualification through BDASA which falls under the South African dance teachers association. Desiree is trained in various styles of belly dance and has completed several courses with International belly dance superstars. She holds a Royal Academy of Dance Elementary level certificate and has broadened her dance vocabulary by doing contemporary classes with iconic teachers, Sonja Mayo and Adele Blank. She has done prestigious performances at Sun City with award winning choreographer Debbie Rakusin.

Ethan Bob McKay
Ethan studied at AFDA and achieved a Higher Certificate in Film, Television and Entertainment Production in 2019. He is currently freelancing as a video editor and has his own youtube channel.
Robin Elam-Rye
British born Rob learnt ballroom and latin dance to bronze medal level in the U.K and continued his dance in many studios on his arrival in South Africa. He studied for the SADTA teachers exam and was a former student of Johaar Mosaval, ex Royal Ballet Principal dancer.
Robin has been associated with the Eoan Group for the last 6 years providing a photographic record of their activities and he is currently the`Stretch and Strength´ teacher to the ballet and modern grades for the past two years.
